On Friday, September 27, 2019, Faculty Diversity Leaders from each college participated in a retreat led by Dr. Narketta M. Sparkman-Key, Director of Faculty Diversity and Retention. The workshop focused on preparing leaders to be more culturally-competent in the development of activities to address diversity and inclusion. Faculty Diversity Leaders reviewed data and developed goals and objectives to guide initiatives for the next three years. The three-year plans were drafted with clear and measurable goals. Our goal is to create an inclusive climate in each college and build awareness of potential biases.
