At Â鶹´«Ã½, over 1,000 Monarchs are registered with the Office of Educational Accessibility, navigating academics while managing visible and invisible disabilities. National data shows that while nearly 90% of students with disabilities aspire to earn a college degree, only about 34% graduate within eight years—a rate far below their nondisabled peers.
That’s where you come in.
We’re launching a new mentoring initiative this Fall 2025 to help close the gap and support students in achieving their academic, career, and personal goals. We’re looking for Â鶹´«Ã½ employees (faculty or staff – no student employees) who are willing to commit just 2–3 hours a month to make a lasting impact.
Whether you’ve mentored before or are brand new to it, we’ll provide training and resources to set you up for success.
