The CCLD Crown Your Career Workshop Series is a series of workshops (4 per semester) that highlight the 8-to-Great Career Readiness Competencies. These competencies are integral skills that will ensure you thrive in your career after college.
Ready, Set, Connect is a dynamic and interactive speed mentoring event designed to prepare college students for real-world career success. Through a series of short, focused conversations with professionals from diverse industries, students will receive actionable advice on elevator pitches, professional dress, interview preparation, and networking strategies. This event will focus on the 8-to-Great Career Readiness Competency of Communication.
This event empowers students to build confidence, expand their professional networks, and connect their personal strengths to career readiness using the NACE Career Competencies framework. Students will leave with practical insights, new connections, and a clearer sense of how to present themselves professionally in any setting.
