The Office of Intercultural Relations will host Global Café Puerto Rico at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to remember the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Maria's devastating effect on the island.
The event will be held in the Hampton Newport News Room. It will feature Â鶹´«Ã½ students and administrators whose lives were directly impacted sharing their experiences.
"Although there will be a time of deep reflection, we will also celebrate the resiliency of our Puerto Rican citizens," said Lesa C. Clark, executive director of the Office of Intercultural Relations.
