Brendan L. O'Hallarn, Ph.D., lecturer, in the Communication & Theatre Arts Department, was named the University Advisor of the Year at the SEES Leadership Awards event on April 19. Dr. O'Hallarn is the faculty advisor for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America, an organization that promotes careers, networking and education in the PR field. Chartered in 2014 at Â鶹´«Ã½, the group hosts an annual fall Internship Fair and takes a spring trip to agencies and public relations departments, most recently visiting Charlotte, N.C.
