Recognizing this special opportunity, the faculty researchers in the University are creating a Consortium for Maritime Research. The goal of the Consortium for Maritime Research is to facilitate research in all areas related to the maritime at Â鶹´«Ã½ and the Hampton Roads region.
Â鶹´«Ã½ has a joint program with Eastern Virginia Medical School designed to encourage outstanding and highly qualified students to receive a B.S. from Â鶹´«Ã½ and a M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School. A student can choose any of the undergraduate programs available at Â鶹´«Ã½, including any in engineering or engineering technology.
